Imagine that you specialized in geometry in University. Then you are hired for a company that asks you to draw 3 lines, which are all perpendicular to each other. Failure to do so makes people doubt your intelligence and your qualifications.
What if your physical appearing or traits go against you. Imagine you are a genius but you have a deep monotone voice that makes you appear less intelligent. Or, you just have facial features that make you appear dumb.
I am not a genius but my IQ is far above the average (this has been verified). How can I leverage this high IQ to make money, when the value of a worker is skewed so much by perception?
